Using recycled paper products saves trees and keeps reusable paper from ending up in landfills. Planet's paper products are made with 100% recycled paper, minimum 80% post-consumer content. Our paper products are whitened without using chlorine based chemicals, using a safer oxygen based process. Our paper products are also manufactured in a way that uses less water and energy than non-recycled paper products, which further reduces the impact on the environment.

Use Planet paper products anywhere in your home. They are made from recycled fibers, yet are strong, soft and absorbent. And like all of Planet's products, our paper products are unscented and uncolored, making them hypo-allergenic. Planet Recycled Bathroom Tissue is an ideal choice for use with your septic systems and for outdoor situations such as camping and boating, as it breaks down quickly once disposed of.

Unlike all other Planet products, we did not include any directions for use on the packaging of our paper products. We understand that the use of paper towels and bathroom tissue is quite straightforward and requires little instruction! However, we will offer a few simple tips below.

Paper Towels:  Planet Recycled Paper Towels are suitable for use in a wide variety of cleaning situations. They can be safely used to wipe, clean, dust or dry practically any surface in your home. For very delicate surfaces like eyeglasses, it is best that you use products that have been designed specifically for those surfaces. Our paper towels can be used with food and food surfaces, as they contain no inks, dyes or perfumes, however use caution if you are using them in your microwave oven. Generally speaking, paper towels are safe to use in microwave ovens, however consult your microwave oven manual as any paper product can burn if used incorrectly.

Bathroom Tissue:  Planet Recycled Bathroom Tissue can be used to... uh... um... Okay, so we all know how entertaining it would be to see us try and write politically correct, comprehensive instructions for using our bathroom tissue, however the delicacies and liabilities involved are just too intimidating. So we will just assume that you already know how to use bathroom tissue and therefore do not require our advice on this subject. We will tell you though, that you can use our bathroom tissue just as you would any other bathroom tissue!

Do you know... ...about chlorine and oxygen-based bleach alternatives? Most conventional consumer paper products on the market today are bleached with chlorine. During the manufacturing process, chlorine is used to remove lignin, a natural wood adhesive, from paper pulp in order to yield a stronger and whiter paper product. However the creation and use of chlorine creates dangerous toxins called "organochlorines", including extremely carcinogenic dioxins. Use of oxygen-based chemicals, such as ozone and hydrogen peroxide, is an environmentally safer alternative to chlorine. All of Planet's paper products are whitened using such oxygen based alternatives.
